Life in a small mountain town
Highlands, NC.....when i first moved here some 18 years ago, there was billboard stating this is where God spent his vacation. With all the growth that has taken place over those years, it is still a tranquil mountain town. When thoughts of moving somewhere else, something slaps in the face and asks, "why in the world would you think such a thing?" , and then reality sets back in. Quiet, gorgeous, perfect summer temperatures, professional summer theatre, community theatre, a performing arts center that brings world renown artists, majestic mountains with breathtaking views.
